One week to go! 09/26/2010
The final week of preparation before the team departs from Australia and arrives from all over the globe. Preparation work has included finalising the permit from the Department of Antiquities of Cyprus, making financial arrangements, preparation of equipment, contacting our colleagues and friends in Cyprus and making final travel arrangements. Remember to follow us on the blog once the first pick hits soil. 1 Comment Cypriot Archaeology blogs 09/05/2010
There are a number of other projects in Cyprus with excavation blogs. These include: Lindy Crewe of the University of Manchester's Bronze Age project at Kissonerga-Skalia near Paphos (http://digcypruskissonerga.wordpress.com/) and the Pyla-Koustsopetria Archaeological Project's Field Blog (http://www.und.nodak.edu/instruct/wcaraher/PKAPBlogAggregator.html) It is a great way to keep up to date with some of the many archaeological projects in Cyprus - we think it is a great way to learn more about Cypriot archaeology. | The Paphos Theatre TeamEntries in this blog will be written by various team members of the Paphos Theatre team - the directors, excavators, ceramic specialists, architects, students and volunteer members of the public. We will make sure we identify ourselves with each blog, but please feel free to ask us all questions about the process of archaeological excavation and research.....
