The 'Tombs of the Kings' Project
The University of Sydney 'Tombs of the Kings' Research Project is a project designed to record the grave good and other finds from the burials at the northern Paphos necropolis known as the 'Tombs of the Kings'. It ran from 1998 until 2004, and aims to complete the publication of finds from the site in excavations conducted by the Department of Antiquities of Cyprus (under the direction of Dr Sophocles Hadjisavvas) between 1977 and 1990.
The team is currently in the process of writing up its results.
